4 Lo Idaho OffRoad is a community of people who love getting dirty, exploring Idaho's backcountry, and helping each other out when the trail gets tough. We are a family of positive minded off-roaders.
Our Story
BORN ON THE
TRAILS OF IDAHO
4 Lo Idaho OffRoad was founded in 2018 by a handful of off-road enthusiasts who were tired of groups that felt exclusive or intimidating. They wanted something different — a place where a stock Jeep was just as welcome as a fully built crawler. A place where a Toyota and Ford enthusiasts felt welcomed and respected.
The name says it all. 4 Lo is where the real adventure starts — slow, deliberate, and committed. That's how we approach our trails and our community.
Today we run trails all across southern Idaho, eastern Oregon, and all over the place. From easy scenic forest roads to serious technical rock crawls. Whatever your rig and whatever your skill level, there's a run for you.

Stock, lifted, locked, or built — every rig is welcome on our trails. We believe the spirit of off-roading matters more than the size of your lift kit.
Inclusive Community
We started in 2018 with a simple idea: build a group where everyone feels welcome. Beginners ride alongside veterans, and nobody gets left behind on OR OFF the trails.
Safety First
Every member is encouraged but not required to carry recovery gear and know basic trail safety. We will take the time to teach, educate and help you learn. We look out for each other out there — that's what makes a run great.
Free to Join
Membership has always been free and always will be. We do all kinds of trails from easy scenic drives to hard-core rock crawling. There's a run for everyone.
How We Got Here
OUR HISTORY
Founded
A small group of Idaho off-road enthusiasts started 4 Lo with a single trail run in the Boise foothills.
Growing Fast
Membership doubled as word spread across the Treasure Valley. Monthly runs became a staple.
Community Roots
Expanded to multi-day trips, camping runs, and charity trail cleanups across southern Idaho.
Still Going Strong
Hundreds of members, dozens of runs per year, and the same welcoming attitude we started with.
Website Created
The need for more information, better communication, and greater outreach.
